What you'll do

Lead technical discussions with C-level executives to align storage and networking strategies with AI business goals.
Identify and exploit architectural weaknesses in competitors' solutions to prove IBM's superiority in scalability and performance.
Design high-performance data pipelines integrating IBM Storage Scale with NVIDIA DGX systems for seamless GPU integration.
Optimize network fabrics using InfiniBand and RoCE architectures to support GPUDirect Storage for efficient data transfer.
Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and performance bake-offs to demonstrate technical superiority in AI infrastructure solutions.

What we're looking for

Extensive experience in technical pre-sales and architecture for enterprise storage or high-performance networking.
Expert-level knowledge of IBM Storage Scale (GPFS) deployment and performance tuning.
Deep hands-on experience with InfiniBand and RoCE v2 networking technologies.
Proven ability to design storage solutions for NVIDIA GPU environments, including GPUDirect Storage.
Demonstrated capability to present complex technical architectures to C-suite executives.
Industry certifications in high-performance computing or equivalent technical expertise.
Experience competing against VAST Data, Weka, or DDN in AI infrastructure projects.
