Solutions Architect, People Technology | Okta

What you'll do

• Lead architectural vision for Workday and adjacent platforms across HR domains.
• Design secure enterprise integrations connecting People systems with broader tech stack.
• Architect AI workflows and MCP ecosystem to achieve 100k-hour HR automation goals.
• Develop proofs of concept and rapid prototypes for complex integrations and solutions.
• Provide technical oversight and governance for internal teams and external vendors.
• Own Workday environment strategy, including sandbox structures and release readiness.

What we're looking for

• 15+ years of IT experience with at least 10 years in Workday and 4 years as a Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect for HR systems.
• Deep expertise in Workday architecture, including integrations, reporting, governance, tenant management, sandbox strategies, and release readiness.
• Strong command of enterprise integration patterns and middleware, connecting platforms like Greenhouse, Cornerstone, and ServiceNow.
• Proven experience architecting AI capabilities, including Agentic AI and Generative AI, with a focus on responsible AI practices and data privacy.
• Hands-on experience in building or partnering on Model Context Protocol (MCP) designs within an enterprise HR context.
• Deep understanding of compliance standards such as SOX controls and global privacy regulations.
