As a Solution Architect for the Configuration Application at our Milwaukee, WI office, you will join a dynamic team to design and implement enterprise-wide technical solutions that address business challenges. Your day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with business and technology experts to translate requirements into technological solutions, developing guidelines for consistent application of technological frameworks, and introducing new technologies to support digital transformation. You will work closely with project managers, developers, and other architects to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and cost-effective. Key skills required include deep expertise in software development, cloud computing (AI, AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and security, as well as experience designing modern public-facing solutions and cloud-based architectures. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, C# .NET, RESTful Web API, Azure PaaS SQL, Terraform, and Git is essential for this role.

What you'll do

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for complex solutions.
Design and oversee the implementation of secure, scalable enterprise-wide platforms.
Develop architectural blueprints and guidelines to ensure consistent technological framework.
Introduce new technologies and methodologies to support digital transformation initiatives.
Provide expertise in cross-product/cross-technology areas to capability teams.
Support tactical architecture design and reference architecture management.

What we're looking for

At least 8 years of experience in software architecture and design.
Strong background in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network security.
Expertise in developing strategic technology plans and roadmaps.
Proficiency in designing modern, public-facing solutions for multiple teams.
Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering.
Experience with frontend technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux.
Knowledge of backend technologies including C# .NET, RESTful Web API, Azure PaaS SQL.
