As a Senior Solution Architect at PNC’s Technology organization, you will join a dynamic team in one of several key locations to drive strategic technology and data initiatives. Your role involves partnering with senior business and technology leaders to develop modern, scalable architectures that support large-scale transformation projects. You will design solution roadmaps, analyze complex business processes, and ensure alignment between enterprise strategies and technical implementations. Key responsibilities include defining data architecture patterns, governing best practices for data modeling and integration, and providing architectural leadership for cloud-based data services and analytical platforms. This role requires expertise in AI/ML, data warehousing, and streaming architectures, as well as strong skills in TOGAF, problem-solving, and strategic planning to address emerging business needs and regulatory requirements.
Develops and resolves complex issues in solution architecture through requirements analysis.
Designs comprehensive system, application, and data architectures aligned with enterprise strategies.
Defines and governs data architecture patterns for logical and physical data models.
Provides architectural leadership for data platforms and ecosystems, including cloud-based services.
Ensures compliance with governance, security, privacy, and regulatory standards in architectures.
Explores new technologies to develop strategic viewpoints on enabling business outcomes.
What we're looking for
Extensive experience in solution, platform, system, application, and data architecture.
Deep understanding of business architecture and ability to bridge current state needs with future objectives.
Proven expertise in designing modern, scalable architectures for large-scale transformation initiatives.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, integration, quality management, metadata, lineage, and lifecycle practices.
Ability to partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to support various use cases effectively.
Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and clients.
Thought leadership in exploring new technologies and developing strategic viewpoints on their impact.
