What you'll do

  • Develop automated testing tools to validate near real-time and batch data pipeline systems.
  • Carry out data profiling to understand schemas, data interrelationships, and data flows.
  • Implement automated tests for data pipelines using Java, Spark, and QA automation tools.
  • Document test plans and write automated test cases for various software components.
  • Automate UI testing for iOS devices.
  • Perform bug reporting, isolation, and diagnosis for software defects.
  • Regress a high volume of changes on a day-to-day basis to ensure data integrity.
  • Lead junior team members in executing quality assurance tasks.

What we're looking for

  • Hold a BS/BA/MS/MA/PhD degree in a STEM major.
  • Have 5+ years of experience with Big Data technologies such as HDFS, AWS, Spark, Kafka, Voldemort, Cassandra, or Druid.
  • Have 5+ years of experience with Python, Java, and/or Scala.
  • Have 5+ years of experience with Big Data query tools like Hive, HDFS, Azkaban, SparkSQL, HiveQL, or CQL.
  • Have 5+ years of experience with near real-time and batch data pipelines and black box testing.
  • Have 5+ years of experience with Client-Server products, Data Quality, Data Profiling, and Data Integration tools.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in data migrations, DataWarehousing, and Business Intelligence.
  • Automate UI testing for iOS devices (preferred).
