What you'll do

Manage and develop a team of engineers responsible for building high-quality capabilities with modern technology.
Ensure adherence to Wells Fargo Technology’s technical strategies and next-generation domain architecture in application migration paths.
Act as the technical representative during cross-team collaborative efforts, identifying and resolving technology roadblocks.
Build engineering skills through peer reviews and guide design to ensure security, stability, and scalability.
Collaborate with Product Managers/Product Owners to drive user satisfaction and influence technology requirements and priorities.
Hire, mentor, and guide talent development for direct reports to build skills in designing innovative solutions.
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for engineering projects, ensuring career development and performance management.

What we're looking for

Over 2 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams
Experience leading modernization of legacy applications, including cloud migration
Hands-on expertise with cloud-native architectures like Kubernetes and OpenShift
Ability to define and execute technical roadmaps while ensuring business continuity
Strong track record in successful application migrations to cloud environments
Demonstrated skill in mentoring and performance management for engineering teams
Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and make trade-off decisions
