Software Engineering Intern The Software Engineering Intern joins the engineering organization to apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to software development. What you'll do

Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to develop software for target applications.
Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software with cross-functional engineering members.
Support all phases of the software development life cycle for embedded software in tactical radio equipment.
Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related technical documentation.
Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests.
Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.
Utilize various programming languages to develop software for Windows, Linux, mobile, and embedded real-time operating systems.

What we're looking for

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field at an accredited university.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for a security clearance.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must be able to perform pre-employment substance abuse testing and background checks.
Ability to apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to software development.
Ability to participate in all phases of the software development life cycle for embedded software.
Ability to utilize a variety of software languages including C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt.
Experience with Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems (preferred).
