We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Data Engineering and Data Delivery team as part of an agile scrum group. This role involves developing, testing, debugging, and implementing software solutions for data quality and delivery applications in the financial domain using Java or Python. You will work independently on complex projects, write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and address production issues by analyzing logs and proposing fixes. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Java n-tier applications, proficiency in Python, knowledge of AI-enabled programming, familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure, AWS, and reactive programming concepts like KSQL and Streams. Additionally, a background in mathematics is highly desirable for understanding financial sector requirements.
Develop and debug software enhancements for data quality and delivery applications.
Write unit tests and automate testing to ensure high-quality end products.
Participate in code reviews and adhere to scrum methodology practices.
Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs, proposing solutions.
Use Java, Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure, AWS for cloud computing projects.
