As a Senior Software Engineer in the Vehicle Software Verification and Validation (V&V) team, you will lead the definition, design, and execution of product verification activities throughout the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities include implementing automated software tests, analyzing customer specifications, reviewing requirements for usability and regulatory compliance, executing complex testing, conducting V&V Design Reviews, and summarizing results in reports. You will work with C/C++, Python, and other tools to ensure that testing is traced back to requirements and completed with objective evidence. This role requires extensive knowledge of software development processes, verification tools, and experience with DO-178 and MIL-HDBK-516C standards. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership to a growing team and collaborate across business lines to build cohesive user experiences while maintaining a strong engineering culture.

What you'll do

  • Lead the definition, design, and execution of product verification and validation activities.

  • Execute complex testing, perform statistical analysis, and interpret results independently.
  • Ensure testing is traced to requirements and completed with objective evidence.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of experience in software testing or related technical field
  • Extensive knowledge of software development and verification tools like C/C++, Python
  • Track record of architecting software test plans in Aerospace and Defense
  • Strong knowledge of requirements management, risk-based testing, defect tracking
  • Experience with DO-178 and MIL-HDBK-516C standards for software development
  • TS (Top Secret) security clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
