What you'll do

Develop data applications and internal tools to query and analyze large-scale video and sensor datasets.
Build scalable data pipelines to handle high-volume data from ingestion through storage to downstream teams.
Architect and maintain SQL and NoSQL database systems optimized for high-throughput workloads and metadata management.
Integrate with internal services, APIs, identity systems, and CI/CD platforms.
Ensure data quality and coverage for algorithm, machine learning, and user study teams.
Own the full lifecycle of your domain from initial design through deployment for reliability and scalability.
Incorporate AI and LLM tools to improve development velocity and operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience with Python.
At least 2 years of experience designing and developing data pipelines or data applications.
At least 1 year of experience with a major cloud platform like AWS or equivalent internal platforms.
Proficiency in Git, REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases including schema design and performance optimization.
Familiarity with software design patterns, system design principles, and the software development lifecycle.
Proficiency in prompt engineering and AI-assisted development workflows for complex debugging and automation.
Experience with distributed data processing frameworks, ETL/ELT patterns, or building web interfaces (preferred).
