What you'll do

Productionize and deploy personalization algorithms in scalable, reliable, and performant production environments.
Design and build data pipelines to process large-scale datasets for personalization and user targeting.
Develop and maintain systems for delivering timely, personalized notifications across multiple channels.
Monitor and optimize production systems for latency, throughput, and reliability as usage scales.
Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions through cross-functional collaboration.
Contribute to code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practices to maintain codebase health.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience building resilient, high-scale distributed microservices in production.
Proficiency in Java or another object-oriented language.
Production experience designing and operating event-driven or streaming systems like Kafka, Kinesis, or Pulsar.
Hands-on experience building large-scale data pipelines on a big-data framework such as Apache Spark.
Experience productionizing personalization, recommendation, or ranking algorithms in a live system.
Experience building or operating notification and message-delivery systems across multiple channels.
Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, SQL, NoSQL datastores, and Redis.
Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
