Software Engineer, Platform Team

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AI platforms and proxy systems for company-wide use.
• Own the full software development lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Onboard new AI models and expand compute resources while optimizing proxy efficiency for logging and security.
• Develop risk-mitigation tools such as AI-powered code reviews and PR automation.
• Create shared prompts, skills, and infrastructure to accelerate peer engineering workflows.
• Build platforms that convert engineering expertise into automated software and reliable data stores at scale.
• Identify high-value opportunities to turn user problems into tested software and deployed applications.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience building production software in lieu of a degree.
• Experience developing production software systems such as platform, backend, or full stack systems.
• Experience building internal developer platforms, AI gateways, or secure proxy systems in production (preferred).
• Hands-on work with Docker containers, security-focused architecture, and multi-provider integrations (preferred).
• Familiarity with MLOps, model onboarding, compute orchestration, and infrastructure for large-scale AI usage (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python and experience with additional languages like Go, Java, or TypeScript (preferred).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, observability, and infrastructure-as-code tools (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required Department of State authorizations.
