What you'll do

  • Build features and components for production services used by internal engineering teams.
  • Take ownership of well-scoped project components from initial requirements through to production.
  • Propose technical solutions and implement them as working code.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and workflows through custom code.

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience writing services in Go or proficiency in another systems language with a willingness to learn Go.
  • Working understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals, including Pods, Deployments, Services, and Operators.
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for a distributed, async-first environment.
  • Experience with Crossplane, Kubernetes operators, or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling (preferred).
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a distributed team using asynchronous communication (preferred).
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate feature development and debug systems (preferred).
  • Background in cloud-based SaaS environments, developer platforms, or the Elastic Stack (preferred).
