Software Engineer II, Frontend Agentic AI

What you'll do

• Build conversational interfaces for long-horizon agents featuring streaming responses and mid-task steering controls.
• Design and implement memory management interfaces to allow users to view, edit, and manage agent context.
• Develop real-time execution views using WebSockets or server-sent events to display agent plans and results.
• Create human-in-the-loop approval surfaces that provide clear diffs for actions affecting external systems.
• Build a "Worker Builder" interface where users can configure digital workers using natural language.
• Manage complex client states for long-running sessions, including reconnection handling and optimistic updates.
• Develop a reusable component library to ensure consistent UI patterns across all agentic features.
• Collaborate with backend and agent engineers to define the APIs and event streams powering the frontend.

What we're looking for

• This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a senior individual contributor.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of front-end engineering experience with React, TypeScript, and modern state management.
• Experience building chat, copilot, or other LLM-powered interfaces in production is required.
• Hands-on experience with real-time UIs including WebSockets, server-sent events, and streaming rendering is required.
• Candidates must have experience integrating front ends with LLM APIs to handle streamed and structured model outputs.
• Strong product sense and the ability to design interaction patterns where no standard exists are required.
• Experience with design systems, accessibility standards, and component library ownership (preferred).
• Familiarity with agent frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph and AI front-end SDKs like Vercel AI SDK (preferred).
