What you'll do

Design and build scalable backend services for AI-driven scheduling agents supporting millions of users daily.
Integrate large language models (LLMs) with machine learning (ML) to deliver intelligent, context-aware scheduling experiences.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and advancements in AI to enhance Copilot experiences for calendar planning.
Leverage Microsoft 365 Graph data to power Copilot and agent-based assistance for calendar features.
Implement backend services for Microsoft Calendar across Monarch and Teams, integrating with APIs, Copilot, and Places.
Drive architectural decisions to ensure reliability, performance, and security in alignment with Microsoft’s Secure Future Initiative (SFI).
Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor systems and lead restoration efforts for simple issues.

What we're looking for

2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Azure.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field **AND** 2+ years of relevant software development experience.
Experience building cloud-native applications and services.
Proficiency in designing scalable systems and understanding distributed systems, APIs, and telemetry.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, particularly in Copilot or agent-based systems.
Experience using Microsoft Graph, M365 services, or workplace productivity tools.
