What you'll do

Build highly scalable cloud-native services to power Cisco Catalyst Center.
Design, develop, test, and maintain distributed applications using Kubernetes, Java, Go, and Python.
Transform customer needs into innovative features while improving platform performance and resiliency.
Contribute to AI-assisted engineering and automation practices to improve development velocity.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices in Linux-based environments.
Utilize CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
5+ years of professional software development experience using one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python.
Experience developing cloud-native or distributed applications using Kubernetes and container technologies.
Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and working with Linux-based development environments.
Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred).
Experience with Kubernetes operators, controllers, networking, storage, or service mesh technologies (preferred).
Full-stack development experience using Angular, React, or similar web frameworks (preferred).
