What you'll do

Develop quality software components for managing high yield and credit alternatives funds.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Alphabet portfolio construction platform.
Build full-stack software solutions using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot.
Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
Define and implement development practices, standards, and strategies across multiple teams.
Communicate technical requirements and updates to researchers, portfolio managers, and technology partners.
Deploy and manage applications within AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes/EKS.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computational field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.
2 plus years of hands-on experience in building complex software solutions.
Full-stack software development knowledge preferably with Angular, Java, and Spring Boot (preferred).
Experience with testing, including writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders including researchers, portfolio managers, and technology partners.
Prior development experience in investment management domain (preferred).
Understanding of Fixed Income instruments, security analytics, investment workflow, and bond markets (preferred).
Experience with AWS cloud environment development, Kubernetes/EKS, or progress towards CFA certification (preferred).
