What you'll do

Design and develop cloud-native microservices using Java, Spring Boot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes.
Deploy and release software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Helm Charts, and Terraform constructs.
Manage cross-functional teams including software, quality, reliability engineers, project managers, and scrum masters.
Mentor and coach junior and senior software, quality, and reliability engineers.
Define and report SLA, SLO, and SLI metrics in partnership with product and architecture teams.
Perform R&D and prototyping for cloud-native solutions.
Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and other core team activities.
Create and deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronic Engineering, or related field plus seven years of software engineering experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronic Engineering, or related field plus five years of software engineering experience.
Experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code in Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML.
Experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, GCP SDKs, or GKE/Kubernetes.
Experience deploying software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and understanding infrastructure-as-code, Helm Charts, and Terraform constructs.
Proficiency in at least 4 of the following: Java, J2EE, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, C, C++, Microservices, JMS, XML, Kubernetes, Chef, Terraform, Cassandra, or Postgres.
Proficiency in at least 3 of the following: Splunk, Grafana, GCP Stack driver, Apigee, Dynatrace, or App dynamics.
Experience with cloud technology including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
