What you'll do

Architect and maintain scalable services, APIs, and tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
Develop platform software and self-service tools to reduce operational toil for engineering teams.
Apply modular design, code reviews, and automated testing to all infrastructure codebases.
Build observability frameworks and self-healing tools to ensure high system availability.
Create automated testing pipelines to proactively catch and resolve operational failures.
Integrate infrastructure software across the application lifecycle in partnership with Security and Systems teams.

What we're looking for

Experience building production software with an emphasis on backend systems, APIs, or developer platform tools (preferred).
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or Rust to write clean and maintainable code (preferred).
Understanding of software design patterns, REST/gRPC API architecture, and data structures applied to operational tooling (preferred).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks like Terraform or Ansible and interacting with infrastructure APIs (preferred).
Analytical, debugging, and system troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues across application logic and infrastructure (preferred).
Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) or container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker (preferred).
Familiarity with building robust CI/CD systems, automated integration testing, or continuous deployment tooling (preferred).
Export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
