What you'll do

Deliver software solutions across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and delivery.
Write clean, well-tested code that adheres to established team standards and best practices.
Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code to improve operational efficiency for cloud systems.
Build and maintain tools, services, and CI/CD pipelines for Venmo’s AWS cloud infrastructure.
Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot incidents and escalate issues as necessary.
Contribute to the development of microservices scaffolding and self-service tooling.
Perform code reviews and incorporate feedback to ensure high software quality.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field of study.
At least 1 year of experience in software development or a related field.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Experience with container technologies and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in programming and scripting using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages.
Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
