Software Engineer
As part of the MV Cameras team, you will join a fast-moving group focused on building security cameras with unique edge-storage architecture. You will perform critical platform bring-up tasks, moving projects from prototype hardware through to final production. Your daily responsibilities include partnering with hardware engineers to validate component selection, integrating vendor board support packages and software development kits into firmware systems, and developing, porting, and debugging Linux device drivers. The role requires proficiency in C or C++ and experience with embedded systems, including cross-platform development tools like GNU toolchain, OpenWRT, buildroot, or Yocto. You will work with bootloaders such as U-Boot, coreboot, or UEFI, while managing kernel configurations and device trees.
