What you'll do

Design, implement, test, debug, and document software components for edge and cloud applications.
Develop C++20 systems software, Go cloud services, installers, and integration tests.
Write unit, contract, integration, boundary, restart, and negative tests.
Diagnose system behavior across cloud, Linux, Windows, database, and network boundaries.
Maintain bounded inputs, stable errors, structured logs, and secure handling of sensitive credentials.
Update protobuf contracts, migrations, build configurations, runbooks, and test evidence.
Participate in code reviews and explain all code produced with AI assistance.

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience with programming languages including Go, C++, or Python.
Experience with OpenSSL, TLS/mTLS, public-key enrollment, certificates, or secure protocol design.
Experience with system service managers, cross-platform installers, cross-compilation, Job Objects, or overlapped I/O.
Experience with SQLite, encrypted local databases, or cloud-hosted SQL databases.
Experience with secure software update systems, signed manifests, package verification, or rollback and recovery design.
Experience with distributed job state, device or fleet management, IoT, telemetry, or disconnected networking.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree.
Experience with gRPC tooling such as grpcurl, protobuf compatibility checking, or generated clients (preferred).
