What you'll do

Design and implement the user interface layer for Netflix’s AI Platform.

Build scalable distributed applications and large-scale machine learning services.
Contribute to open-source projects and maintain high-quality software design standards.

What we're looking for

Must have 5+ years of full-time software engineering or machine learning experience.
Must possess a bachelor’s and master’s degree, or a PhD degree.
Must have excellent software design and development skills in Python and one of Scala, Java, or C++.
Must have proven experience with distributed applications and large-scale ML systems.
Must understand the full ML lifecycle from data and features to training, experiment tracking, and production deployment.
Must have experience developing platform solutions like SDKs, developer frameworks, or internal tooling for ML users.
Experience building machine learning models or LLMs (preferred).
Experience designing or building agentic systems (preferred).
Experience working with public clouds, especially AWS (preferred).
Significant contributions to open source projects (preferred).
