As a Software Development Manager at Amazon Leo Manufacturing Systems Engineering, you will lead the development of software systems that enhance manufacturing efficiency and production quality for the Amazon Leo satellite fleet. You will own the technical roadmap, define requirements, and architect scalable solutions using AWS cloud services, IoT, and data analytics to optimize throughput while ensuring operator safety and system reliability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including technology leaders and product management, you will build rapid prototypes and guide the implementation of robust systems. Additionally, you will mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team by defining growth strategies for both software services and team capabilities. This role requires expertise in multi-tier web service development, hardware/software integration, and real-time systems, as well as strong communication skills to effectively partner with senior leadership and technical teams.

Experience in integrating hardware and software for real-time systems.
