What you'll do

  • Develop next-generation perimeter security and load balancing solutions for large-scale distributed services.
  • Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Address technical challenges regarding security, availability, and fault tolerance in network proxies.
  • Implement features across Layer 4 through Layer 7 load balancing and security technologies.
  • Enhance network and application security to defend against emerging threats.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and advocate for software development best practices.
  • Mentor junior teammates and provide technical guidance within the engineering team.

What we're looking for

  • Expertise in C and C++.
  • Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP protocols, and Web/Network Security.
  • Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS proxies.
  • Knowledge of IP Networking, BGP, and NAT.
  • At least 7 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
  • Programming experience in LUA, Python, Go, and Rust (preferred).
  • Experience with WAF, public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), and load balancer products like IPVS, NGINX, and Envoy (preferred).
