What you'll do

Develop next-generation perimeter security and load balancing solutions for large-scale distributed services.
Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
Address technical challenges regarding security, availability, and fault tolerance in network proxies.
Implement features across Layer 4 through Layer 7 load balancing and security technologies.
Enhance network and application security to defend against emerging threats.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and advocate for software development best practices.
Mentor junior teammates and provide technical guidance within the engineering team.

What we're looking for

Expertise in C and C++.
Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP protocols, and Web/Network Security.
Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS proxies.
Knowledge of IP Networking, BGP, and NAT.
At least 7 years of relevant software development experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
Programming experience in LUA, Python, Go, and Rust (preferred).
Experience with WAF, public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), and load balancer products like IPVS, NGINX, and Envoy (preferred).
