Software Development Engineer - Applications

What you'll do

• Design and develop data pipelines and products to support business analytics within the cloud Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Build self-service tools and Python-based frameworks to improve the efficiency of reporting and analytical needs.
• Perform continuous analysis and tuning of database environments to optimize performance, throughput, and resource consumption.
• Develop and manage scalable micro/macro-services architectures using AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Terraform scripts to deploy and manage robust cloud-based applications.
• Manage and optimize both relational and NoSQL databases including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
• Process large datasets using big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and Presto to improve analytics performance.
• Provide second-level support to resolve system-wide service performance and stability issues.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• 5 years of experience using Snowflake Enterprise data warehousing for building pipelines and performance optimization.
• 5 years of experience using SQL to conduct data analysis and optimize query performance.
• 5 years of experience creating frameworks and applications using Python for automation and self-service tools.
• 5 years of experience using AWS Cloud Services like EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, Glacier, EKS, and Route 53.
• 5 years of experience with cloud deployment techniques including CI/CD, Git, and Terraform.
• 5 years of experience managing relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
