What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
  • Integrate data from multiple internal and external systems into a unified platform.
  • Perform data cleaning, formatting, validation, and migration for large, complex datasets.
  • Create and manage AWS-based resources to support big data infrastructure.
  • Write, test, and debug custom application code using TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
  • Administer database services and optimize SQL performance and schema design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipeline performance and data integrity.
  • Document pipeline architecture, operational procedures, and technical processes.

What we're looking for

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Poly.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience, a Master's and 10 years of experience, or 16+ years of experience without a degree.
  • Experience in ETL/ELT development, data integration, and pipeline orchestration.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and Python for backend and data pipeline development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and schema design.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Apache NiFi, or NoSQL databases (preferred).
  • Familiarity with streaming architectures, message queues, or distributed systems (preferred).
