Your daily responsibilities include completing netlist to GDS2 implementations, performing timing, physical, and electrical verifications, and driving signoff closure while resolving flow issues. The role requires knowledge of chip architecture, floor-planning, power grid, STA, and EMIR using tools like Redhawk, Totem, or Voltus. Preferred technical skills include experience with Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, TCL, and SPICE. You will solve complex physical design challenges to ensure high-quality hardware outcomes for advanced integrated circuits.
