What you'll do

Own the reliability of Kubernetes-hosted services across AWS and self-hosted clusters.
Design SLO-driven observability with meaningful SLIs and health-focused dashboards.
Partner with architecture team on system design for service-to-service auth, event-driven messaging.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, patterns, and platforms for production infrastructure.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices to make the engineering team efficient.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in distributed systems engineering
Deep production experience with Kubernetes operations and AWS services
Strong proficiency in designing and operating backend services using Python, Go, or similar languages
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Helm
Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and GitOps practices
Expertise in networking fundamentals including DNS, load balancing, TLS, firewall rules
