AI generatedTL;DR
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Human Engineering, you will join a team of software engineers developing web-based tools and native applications for Apple teams. This engineering-forward SRE role involves designing systems as much as operating them, focusing on Kubernetes-hosted services across AWS and self-managed clusters. You’ll work closely with full-stack engineers to enhance service communication, production behavior observation, and safe change deployment. Responsibilities include platform reliability engineering, distributed system architecture design, and enabling efficient engineering practices through CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows. The role requires deep experience with Kubernetes, AWS services, infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, proficiency in backend languages such as Python or Go, and a strong understanding of networking fundamentals. Ideal candidates have additional experience with event-driven architectures, service mesh patterns, Django applications, observability tooling, and handling sensitive data securely.
