This role involves partnering with engineering teams to evolve services and optimize infrastructure while participating in on-call rotations for troubleshooting complex issues and writing post-incident reviews. Ideal candidates have extensive experience with Azure or equivalent cloud platforms and a strong background in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.

What you'll do

Architect and implement hybrid and cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.
Design and enforce data governance, storage, backup, and disaster recovery for multi-petabyte Azure environments.
Build large-scale data pipelines and transformations to support analytics and operational needs.
Evaluate and integrate emerging engineering tools and practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Automate service health management, telemetry, and alerting with a focus on resiliency.
Troubleshoot complex issues in live services during on-call rotations and write post-incident reviews.

What we're looking for

4+ years experience in containerized applications and infrastructure as code
Master's degree in CS/IT or equivalent 2+ years of technical experience required
Proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and Python
Experience with large datasets, data pipelines, and transformations at scale
Hands-on expertise with Azure services and petabyte-scale environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and data pipeline tools
