Join JLL's Technical Services division as a Senior Technical Services Site Assessment Specialist, where you will independently conduct comprehensive facility assessments and deliver technical consulting services for data centers and mission-critical facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating critical MEP infrastructure through visual inspections, conducting generator systems feasibility studies, developing UPS replacement strategies, and performing HVAC design analysis. You will serve as the primary client contact during site visits, coordinate logistics, and present findings to leadership teams, translating complex technical issues into actionable business recommendations. This role requires expertise in UPS systems, generators, PDUs, transformers, electrical distribution, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, evaporative cooling systems, fire suppression, and building automation systems, along with a strong understanding of industry standards such as NFPA 110, Uptime Institute Tier Standards, and ASHRAE. Ideal candidates have experience in proposal development, ROM cost estimating, and project management, alongside excellent client communication skills.
Conduct comprehensive Critical Environment Gap Assessments for data centers.
Inspect and evaluate critical MEP systems including UPS, generators, and cooling infrastructure.
Identify single points of failure and deferred maintenance issues during assessments.
Develop detailed technical proposals with scope definitions and cost estimates.
Deliver presentations on assessment findings to client leadership teams.
Conduct generator feasibility studies and HVAC design analysis for clients.
What we're looking for
Proven experience conducting facility assessments and technical evaluations of data centers or mission-critical facilities.
Strong technical knowledge of critical MEP infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, PDUs, transformers, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, fire suppression systems, and building automation systems.
Understanding of redundancy configurations (N, N+1, 2N) and industry standards such as NFPA 110, Uptime Institute Tier Standards, ASHRAE.
Experience with proposal development, ROM cost estimating, and project management including budget tracking and profitability analysis.
Excellent client communication and presentation skills to translate complex technical issues into actionable business recommendations.
Ability to work independently, conduct stakeholder interviews, and manage multiple projects simultaneously from proposal through final deliverable.
