Senior Technical Program Manager, Applied Science

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end Responsible AI delivery for GitHub Copilot features.
• Influence and drive the continuous execution of RAI evaluations for product releases.
• Embed privacy-by-design principles throughout the ML lifecycle, ensuring compliance.
• Define processes and establish program management infrastructure for responsible AI.
• Drive cross-functional coordination at scale, managing dependencies and resource allocations.
• Establish and track KPIs for AI model quality and program efficiency.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years experience in Technical Program Management, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven track record of working with Generative AI in an engineering, product, policy, or technical program management role
• Deep understanding of Responsible AI and compliance workflows for shipping AI features
• Experience designing, running, and maintaining LLM/GenAI evaluation suites
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, and EU AI Act
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage complex cross-functional projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
