Senior Systems Security Engineer, Programs

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end security for assigned products by deriving requirements from customer needs and threat intelligence.
• Design security architectures and manage security across the full product lifecycle.
• Implement security features and capabilities for AI systems, command and control platforms, and aerospace vehicles.
• Develop and execute comprehensive security test strategies at multiple integration levels to support major milestones.
• Brief government customers and program leadership on complex security architectures and approaches.
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security testing in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Translate architectural requirements into technical implementations for embedded systems and hardware components.

What we're looking for

• Must have 8+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience.
• Experience in fields such as Systems Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Proven experience in security engineering and architecture for defense, national security systems, or complex embedded commercial systems.
• Familiarity with security features on embedded hardware and FPGAs, such as secure boot and key management.
• Ability to lead a team to solve complex security engineering challenges.
• Must currently possess an active US Secret security clearance with SAP eligibility.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for briefing technical government customers.
