What you'll do

  • Manage the daily configuration, operation, and maintenance of Linux, UNIX, and Windows systems.
  • Build, configure, and monitor virtual and storage environments to ensure infrastructure reliability.
  • Configure network components and implement operating-system enhancements to improve performance.
  • Resolve complex integration issues involving server hardware, applications, and software within SOA environments.
  • Perform system-capacity analysis and planning to optimize resource utilization.
  • Provide Tier 2 escalation support for troubleshooting complex technical problems and hardware issues.
  • Contribute to the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware components.

What we're looking for

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required at the time of application.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Fifteen years of System/Network Administration experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Five additional years of System/Network Administration experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
  • Experience administering Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments.
  • Experience building and maintaining virtual and storage environments.
  • Knowledge of system-administration interdependencies within Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments.
  • Ability to resolve complex integration issues involving server hardware, applications, and software.
