What you'll do

Architect and implement new features for the CUDA driver on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
Write effective, maintainable, and well-tested code for high-performance compute workloads.
Coordinate development efforts across multiple teams to deliver the CUDA platform.
Define forward-looking improvements to the CUDA APIs and programming model.
Develop code that interacts with GPU hardware, kernel mode drivers, and the operating system.
Debug multithreaded programs and manage operating system interfaces for threads and virtual memory.

What we're looking for

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent academic experience after a BS degree.
Strong C and C++ programming skills.
Experience working with large codebases.
Experience with operating system interfaces for threads, process control, and virtual memory.
Experience writing and debugging multithreaded programs.
Understanding of system level architecture, such as interconnects, memory hierarchy, interrupts, and memory-mapped IO.
Knowledge of memory coherence and consistency models.
Good written communication skills.
Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) experience (preferred).
Experience with game development (preferred).
Background in computer graphics such as OpenGL, Vulkan, or DirectX (preferred).
Experience writing Windows device drivers (preferred).
Experience with kernel mode development (preferred).
