Senior Strategic Risk Manager, Account Security

What you'll do

• Identify areas for improvement regarding user account security and establish specific security goals.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand system architecture, current security posture, and adoption blockers.
• Measure and communicate security risks to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and implement AI technologies to manage and mitigate security risks.
• Perform post-incident reviews to analyze and improve security responses.
• Research emerging technologies and threats to define security requirements before they reach production.
• Design, document, and implement new security processes and controls.

What we're looking for

• Hold a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security, or have 5+ years of equivalent hands-on experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to design, document, and implement new security processes.
• Possess a deep understanding of threat modeling, operational threat intelligence, and common attack vectors and frameworks.
• Maintain a strong understanding of applied cryptography, access control, and other security mechanisms.
• Have experience with enterprise log collection and analysis platforms such as Splunk or OSQuery.
• Have experience applying and experimenting with AI/ML to solve security-related use-cases (preferred).
• Have experience working with data engineers to define metrics and interpret results from detection and risk models (preferred).
• Possess knowledge of authentication mechanisms, including OAuth, SAML, and other identity management protocols (preferred).
