What you'll do

Design and implement durable, scalable web solutions embedded within the mobile app using Next.js and React.
Architect hybrid mobile-web experiences to ensure high performance and seamless transitions between webviews and native components.
Identify and integrate generative AI capabilities and LLMs into the Credit Karma user experience.
Resolve complex cross-cutting dependencies and define engineering standards for the front-end domain.
Drive technical strategy and execution for high-visibility domains across multiple teams.
Mentor and coach staff, senior, and junior engineers to raise the overall technical bar.
Translate complex technical trade-offs into actionable insights for product and business leaders.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience developing software for large-scale, consumer-facing applications with a track record of technical leadership at the Staff or Senior Staff level.
Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML, and CSS.
Strong understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and front-end performance optimization.
Proven experience building complex responsive web applications designed to run inside mobile app webviews or hybrid application wrappers.
5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems or front-end platforms that scale to millions of users.
Experience integrating AI into production software, including familiarity with LLM APIs and prompt engineering (preferred).
Excellent communication skills to translate technical trade-offs to senior product and business leaders.
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
