Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Core Services Engineering

What you'll do

• Shape the technical roadmap and problem formulations for the Risk and Trust engineering team.
• Design robust engineering solutions using machine learning, optimization, and statistics to impact business goals.
• Mentor and uplevel machine learning engineering talents across the organization.
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle including ML model pipelines and system design.
• Implement and productionize machine learning solutions at a global scale.
• Execute A/B testing and rollout strategies for new fraud prevention features.
• Defend the platform against sophisticated, AI-driven fraud and identity verification threats.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of industry experience developing machine learning models and shipping ML solutions to production.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills with expertise in ML methodologies.
• Experience applying ML, statistics, or optimization techniques to solve large-scale real-world problems.
• Industry experience in ML frameworks like Tensorflow, Pytorch, or JAX and complex data pipelines.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Spark SQL, Presto, Go, and Java.
• Familiarity with multi-task learning, LLMs, anomaly detection, and fraud domain knowledge (preferred).
