Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Agentic AI Platform (Ads Ranking)

What you'll do

• Develop advanced ML models and agentic workflows to design, train, evaluate, and improve them.
• Use AI-assisted development systems like Claude and Cursor to investigate model behavior and automate repetitive analysis.
• Build reliable loops for data analysis, feature development, architecture comparison, and hyperparameter optimization.
• Design evaluation harnesses to measure model outcomes, workflow quality, correctness, cost, and latency.
• Set technical direction across teams to improve modeling rigor and AI-assisted engineering standards.
• Design guardrails and evaluations to ensure autonomous or semi-autonomous workflows are trustworthy.
• Connect modeling improvements to specific user and business outcomes through cross-functional partnerships.

What we're looking for

• 9+ years of experience in ML engineering, applied ML, or a related field with substantial production impact.
• Senior Staff-level technical leadership experience with a record of influencing direction across teams.
• Deep modeling expertise in data, objectives, architectures, optimization, evaluation, and experimentation.
• Concrete experience using agentic AI or AI coding tools to produce better ML outcomes.
• Ability to design guardrails and evaluations for trustworthy autonomous or semi-autonomous workflows.
• Strong coding ability in Python and fluency with modern ML frameworks and data tooling.
• Clear, concise communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego approach to technical leadership.
