The Senior Specialist, Application Developer - Full Stack Developer joins the Transformation team to support a large-scale Data/AI implementation within the defense contracting sector. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining full stack applications, workflows, and data pipelines specifically within the Palantir Foundry platform. The developer will build user-facing functionality, backend logic, and batch or near-real-time data pipelines to integrate legacy enterprise systems like ERP and PLM into unified data products. Key responsibilities include translating user stories into technical solutions, implementing data transformations, and participating in agile ceremonies. Required skills include proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript, along with experience in React, Angular, and relational or non-relational databases. The work addresses complex enterprise use cases across finance, supply chain, engineering, and strategic planning.
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications and workflows within the Palantir Foundry platform.
Build user-facing functionality and backend logic to support enterprise use cases in finance, supply chain, and operations.
Translate user stories and functional requirements into technical solutions under the guidance of architects and senior developers.
Develop and maintain batch and near-real-time data pipelines to integrate legacy enterprise systems into Foundry.
Implement data transformations, validations, and quality checks to ensure the accuracy of data products.
Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to team standards for coding, testing, and peer review.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution across application and data components.
Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliant and reliable software deployments.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Must be a U.S. citizen as the position may require obtaining a security clearance.
Experience developing software applications using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript (preferred).
Experience with full stack software development, including frontend development, backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications (preferred).
Experience with relational or non-relational databases, data transformation logic, and systems integration (preferred).
Experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop, or ontology-based development (preferred).
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular (preferred).
Experience with backend/API development and scripting in Python or Java (preferred).
