NVIDIA’s Federal business unit seeks a senior solution architect with expertise in accelerated computing technology and artificial intelligence to drive digital transformation within US federal government programs. This role involves collaborating closely with product teams, engineering, and customers to design, develop, and deploy large-scale advanced networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will guide customer discussions on network design and support server/network/cluster deployments while acting as a trusted advisor in technical meetings. Key responsibilities include analyzing performance issues, delivering technical content, educating C-suite decision-makers, and providing feedback to engineering teams. Essential skills include experience with NVIDIA GPUs, networking technologies like NICs and InfiniBand, and systems technology such as NCCL and DCGM. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines within a high-stakes federal environment.
Guide customer discussions on network design and support bring up of server/network/cluster deployments for large data center systems.
Serve as primary technical driver during the entire lifecycle of networking infrastructure projects for federal customers.
Conduct regular technical meetings with C-Suite-level decision-makers to educate them about AI and enhanced computing performance benefits.
Analyze and debug compute/network configuration issues to ensure optimal cluster performance in customer environments.
Prepare and deliver technical content such as presentations, workshops, and reference architectures to customers and partners.
Collaborate with internal teams like engineering and product to secure business opportunities for NVIDIA technology solutions.
What we're looking for
6+ years of experience in Solution Engineering or related roles with direct customer interaction
BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
Subject Matter Expertise in High-Performance Computing and Networking technologies
Strong interpersonal skills for working closely with customers and cross-functional teams
Familiarity with NVIDIA GPUs, networking technologies (NICs, RoCE, InfiniBand), and AI solutions
Experience deploying and optimizing large HPC clusters and high-speed networks
Active Security Clearance preferred for US Federal Government projects
