We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic Health and Wellness Digital team at Walmart. This role involves leading large-scale cross-organizational backend solutions that impact millions of pharmacy customers, working closely with product, design, business, and engineering leadership to build high-performing, scalable, and secure software solutions. You will provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, collaborate on strategic planning, mentor junior developers, and promote a culture of technical excellence. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of backend development experience with proficiency in Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js, strong database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL), cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP), and familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for mentoring and tackling complex technical challenges in the healthcare technology space.

What we're looking for
7+ years of backend development experience with proficiency in Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
