As a Senior Software Engineer in Walmart Global Tech’s Replenishment organization, you will lead medium to large projects by developing high-level designs and securing cross-functional approvals. You’ll manage small engineering teams (4–6 engineers) by providing direction, conducting design reviews, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing back-end solutions using Java, Python, Apache Spark, Google Cloud, Airflow, DataProc, BigQuery, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB to enhance inventory management and communication between buyers and suppliers across Walmart stores. This role requires a strong background in supply chain concepts, expertise in Spark and programming languages, and the ability to drive technical guidance and cross-functional alignment to support business needs.

What we're looking for
6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong expertise in Apache Spark and programming languages like Java and Python.
Proven ability to design, develop, and enhance complex applications and technical solutions.
Capability to lead small engineering teams (4–6 engineers) through documentation, direction, and code reviews.
Experience providing expert technical guidance and driving cross-functional alignment on projects.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with supply chain exposure preferred.
