As a Senior Software Engineer on the Messaging Identity Services team, you will play a pivotal role in developing backend services that power Messages, FaceTime, and other messaging features across Apple devices. You will drive features through the entire software development lifecycle, from exploration to operations, ensuring high availability and reliability for billions of users worldwide. The ideal candidate has at least six years of backend engineering experience, proficiency in Java, Go, C#, or similar languages, and expertise in building large-scale cloud services with distributed database systems like Cassandra. Additionally, a strong understanding of multi-threading, non-blocking I/O, networking concepts, and applied cryptography is preferred as you tackle complex challenges related to account authentication, identity access management, and spam prevention.
