The Senior Software Engineer (iOS & macOS Native), Finance Engineering joins the Information Systems and Technology organization to build next-generation native experiences for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. This role provides technical leadership for complex, business-critical applications used by finance professionals, auditors, and leaders. You will own architecture and technical direction, building sophisticated native experiences while establishing reusable foundations and engineering standards. Key responsibilities include designing scalable architectures for UI, networking, and security, as well as integrating AI-assisted features. You will utilize Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, AppKit, Core ML, and Vision to solve complex financial workflows. What we're looking for
10 years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience designing and delivering complex production applications.
7 years of native Apple-platform development experience using Swift and technologies such as SwiftUI, UIKit, and/or AppKit.
7 years of expertise in Swift and modern native application development, including concurrency, memory management, modular architecture, state management, application lifecycle, and performance optimization.
7 years of experience in architecting complex applications across UI, networking, authentication, persistence, synchronization, background processing, and unreliable network conditions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong knowledge of Apple development fundamentals including app lifecycle, sandboxing, entitlements, signing, provisioning, debugging, performance profiling, and application distribution (preferred).
Proven ability to lead technically complex initiatives across multiple engineers, components, or teams, making sound architectural tradeoffs and driving solutions from ambiguous problem definitions (preferred).
Experience integrating native apps with distributed backend services, including RESTful APIs, gRPC, GraphQL, and authentication flows like OAuth 2.0 or enterprise SSO (preferred).
