Senior Software Engineer, Fulfillment Ops

What you'll do

• Develop and implement production software to automate and optimize business processes.
• Design system architectures focused on durability, reliability, concurrency, and performance under peak loads.
• Coordinate with external infrastructure teams to drive the development of necessary infrastructure needs.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and stability in fulfillment and supply chain operations.
• Manage release engineering tasks including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and database schema migrations.
• Build and scale high-throughput distributed systems for data science and analysis tools.
• Deploy observability tooling and feature flags to ensure safe software rollouts.

What we're looking for

• BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Mastery of Python, Java, Scala, C++, or an equivalent language.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or data science.
• Experience building data science or data analysis tools on Hadoop or cloud-based systems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platform deployment (preferred).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and durable workflow orchestration frameworks like Temporal (preferred).
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design, query performance, and migrations (preferred).
• Experience designing, building, and scaling high-throughput distributed systems in production (preferred).
