What you'll do

  • Design and implement solutions for VM orchestration and bare metal provisioning in distributed environments.
  • Operate, monitor, and triage all aspects of production and non-production compute environments.
  • Automate the deployment and orchestration of compute infrastructure and other routine processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Develop AI-assisted tools to accelerate triage, operational workflows, and infrastructure tooling.
  • Prepare alert handling procedures and runbooks for SRE teams.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • Advanced Degree (preferred).
  • 7+ years in a Site Reliability Engineering Infrastructure focused role.
  • Strong experience building and scaling cloud infrastructure and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with OpenStack, KVM/hypervisor technologies, and Kubernetes.
  • Highly proficient in Go or Python.
  • Experienced with highly distributed unix systems.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Chef, Ansible, or Terraform (preferred).
