What you'll do

  • Design and implement distributed systems and storage control-plane workflows using Go and/or C++.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of Kubernetes workload clusters and persistent volumes.
  • Architect storage control-plane workflows for creation, upgrade, movement, and scaling across thousands of clusters.
  • Build robust storage control-plane resiliency to handle failure scenarios like split-brain conditions and networking outages.
  • Develop automated and comprehensive tests to validate the correctness and resilience of complex distributed systems.
  • Take full ownership of the Software Development Lifecycle to accelerate the delivery of product features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production and non-production issues across multiple infrastructure layers.
  • Translate ambiguous large-scale problems into clear technical designs and execution plans.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience building highly scalable distributed systems applications.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with infrastructure orchestration across compute, networking, and storage.
  • Knowledge of Linux internals and container runtimes.
  • Knowledge of Container Storage Interface (CSI) and managing Persistent Volumes (PVs) and PVCs.
  • Strong systems design fundamentals with a focus on consistency, availability, and failure handling.
  • Hands-on experience building or operating Kubernetes-based systems (preferred).
