What you'll do

Architect, implement, and maintain user experiences across multiple platforms for health and sensing features.
Develop real-time algorithms that fuse different sensing modalities to infer metrics and detect events.
Design and contribute to APIs to expose internal metrics to third-party developers and cross-functional teams.
Build software that supports the design of data collection and prototyping apps for sensing-based metrics.
Deliver end-to-end features ranging from low-level firmware and silicon layers to high-level user interfaces.
Translate complex scientific research into polished, consumer-facing products through data-driven validation.
Mentor team members and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.

What we're looking for

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science.
At least 10 years of experience as a software engineer.
At least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
Extensive experience with programming languages such as C++, Objective-C, Swift, or SwiftUI.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and architecting complex systems for embedded devices (preferred).
Effective written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail (preferred).
Prior experience with machine learning including LLMs, foundation models, CNNs, or Bayesian methods (preferred).
Experience with sensors, sensor fusion, fitness, and health technologies (preferred).
